What is PASHIRU?

PASHIRU is a simple tool for instantly sharing URLs or text on the spot. A long URL is converted into a 6-digit code, and the other person can retrieve the content just by entering that code. No contact exchange or account creation is required.

Is it free to use?

Yes. PASHIRU is completely free to use, and all core features are available without registration or payment.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can start using PASHIRU as soon as you open the site. There is no sign-up process.

How do I use a 6-digit code?

The sender enters a URL or text and gets a 6-digit code. They share that code with the recipient, and the recipient enters it on PASHIRU to retrieve the content.

Can I use it on both phones and computers?

Yes. It works on smartphones, PCs, tablets, and other devices with a browser. For example, you can receive something on your phone and open it on your computer.

Can I send things other than URLs?

Yes. You can also share notes, email addresses, social media IDs, and other text-based information.

Can I use it during a phone call?

Yes. That is one of the main use cases. Because the code is made up only of numbers, you can read it out loud clearly during a call.

Can it replace a QR code?

In many situations, yes. It can be especially useful when a QR code is hard to scan because of distance, lighting, or camera limitations.

Can I use it with a large group?

Yes. You can announce the same code to everyone, which makes it useful for events, seminars, and meetups.

Can I use it with people whose contact I do not have?

Yes. You do not need a phone number or email address. Sharing the 6-digit code is enough.

Is there an expiration time?

Yes. For security reasons, codes expire. You can choose a lifetime from 5 minutes up to 24 hours.

Is it secure?

Only people who know the code can access the content, but it is still not meant for highly sensitive or confidential information. It is best used for temporary sharing.

What data does PASHIRU collect?

Only the submitted content (text or URL), the IP address, and the access timestamp for abuse prevention. We do not collect accounts, names, email addresses, or phone numbers. Submitted content is automatically deleted after expiry (max 24 hours) or after one-time view. IP addresses are kept for up to 1 hour only. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How are codes generated?

Codes are generated using the cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generator (CSPRNG) provided by the operating system. This is the same kind of random source widely used for security-sensitive applications. We also exclude memorable patterns such as repeated digits or sequential numbers from regular generation.

Is my content used for AI training?

No. Submitted content is used only for temporary sharing and is automatically deleted after expiry. We never use it for advertising, third-party sales, marketing, or AI training.
